Tap on Ponce

A new beverage store offering beer, wine and specialty foods, recently opened this summer in the Central Food Hall of Ponce City Market—the enormous and nationally significant adaptive reuse project housed in the historic Sears, Roebuck, & Co. building near downtown Atlanta. The space features 56 taps, made from oak handles and finished with leather wraps, pouring draft beer and wine in a variety of growler, crowler and bottle options. The design is simple and efficient, incorporating a black and white motif throughout the 1,000-square-foot space. Custom designed murals, inspired by the aesthetic of prohibition-era pamphlets, and custom plasterwork painted in black and white color blocks, add to an overall bold and graphic look.
