An eclectic chalet nestled in the Appalachian Valley; the Hotel Chalet in Chattanooga, TN invites its visitors to journey to the surrounding mountains, explore arts and entertainment, and retreat to a sumptuous bedroom that feels a world apart. We worked with our client, Trestle Studio, to develop the interior design for the project. Public spaces embrace their mid-century origins while capturing some of the whimsy and European romanticism found in the existing Choo Choo rose gardens. The hotel courtyard is a warm lit oasis complete with an alpine pool, fire pits, and a converted train car that serves libations and fresh bites. The spacious guestrooms and corridors are reminiscent of Art Nouveau style, with bold color palettes, curved undulating lines, and a hint of old-world charm. Renovated sleeper cars consisting of two king-guest rooms with full sized bathrooms and daybeds offer a great place for families to stay.
