Bearings Bike Shop is a hands-on student driven learning experience where young kids can earn a bike that they build from scratch on their own. We were approached to imagine their new space in a historic part of Atlanta located along the BeltLine. Centered around an existing quonset hut as the main shop area, the program provides kids a flexible work space and access to classrooms. As the kids finish their bikes, they are only steps away from riding them on the BeltLine.
