Farm to Ladle at Avalon

After a successful year for Farm to Ladle’s first location in downtown Atlanta’s Ponce City Market Central Food Hall, the team then opened their second location in Avalon, a mixed-use development north of Atlanta in Alpharetta. The design of the nearly 2000-square-foot cafe elevates traditional building materials often neglected in construction, like pallets, joists, can lights, and concrete. We brought these materials front and center and used them as finish material, with walls made from reclaimed pallets painted dark and central lighting composed of suspended plywood panels. Brass accents and trim work complete the design, referencing Farm to Ladle’s first location we designed at Ponce City Market.
